Natural Gluten-free Cannoli.
The cannoli are sweet traditional fried that was originally eaten during Carnival but they have been so successful that they have become the most popular and appreciated Sicilian sweet and are eaten all year.
The cannoli are formed by a shell of fried dough and crispy, stuffed with a cream filling of ricotta, chocolate chips and candied pumpkin cubes whose use it is a bit 'lost in time.
The cannoli are then trimmed laterally with the candied cherries, of orange peel or chopped pistachios.
