Wholesale & Trade Supply · London

Wholesale Italian coffee for UK cafes and businesses

Carraro has been roasting in the Veneto since 1927. We supply trade customers across the UK directly from our Brixton base. That covers coffee, cafe supplies, equipment, training and servicing on one account.

Direct from the roastery

We are the official UK distributor for Caffe Carraro. You buy from the source, not from a middleman adding a margin on the way through.

One account, not four suppliers

Coffee, machine, training, servicing and water filtration handled together, by people who understand how they affect each other.

We run a coffee bar ourselves

Our Brixton arch serves the same coffee we sell you. If something does not work behind a bar, we tend to find out before you do.

What we supply

Coffee, in trade formats

The full Carraro range in 1kg and 3kg bags: Crema Espresso, Gran Crema, Tazza d'Oro, Dolci Arabica, 1927 Arabica, the Globo line, organic blends and decaf. Whole bean or ground to your grinder.

Capsules and pods

Capsules compatible with Nespresso® systems, plus ESE pods, in catering cases, for offices and hotel rooms where a full machine is not practical.

Cafe supplies

Birchall teas, hot chocolate, chai powders, smoothie mixes, syrups and topping sauces, barista oat and plant milks by the case, all on the same delivery as the coffee.

Italian treats and equipment

Cannoli catering trays, wafers and seasonal Italian lines for the counter. Plus grinders, tampers, cleaning products and water filtration.

What a supply agreement can include

Every account is put together differently. This is what we can build into an agreement, not a fixed package. What applies depends on your volume and what you need.

A machine on loan

With a supply agreement we can place a commercial machine and grinder on your bar at no capital cost, installed and calibrated. Subject to a minimum volume commitment.

Barista training

Hands-on training for your team at our Brixton bar or on your site: dialling in, milk technique, cleaning routines and consistency across shifts. Included for supply customers.

Servicing and repairs

Planned servicing and breakdown cover coordinated through us and carried out by our partner engineers. One number to call, whoever supplied the machine.

Free delivery over a threshold

Trade orders over certain amounts are delivered free. Delivery days and areas can be discussed with our agents.

How trade pricing works

We do not publish a single trade price list, because it would be wrong for most people reading it. A cafe going through 20kg a week and an office buying capsules are not the same customer.

We quote per account instead. Price depends on volume, the formats you take, and whether equipment, training or servicing form part of the agreement. Tell us what you get through in a typical week and we will come back with real numbers, not a range to negotiate down from.

How it works

1. Get in touch

Call or email us. Tell us roughly what you get through in a week, and what you are using now, and we have enough to work with.

2. You speak to an agent

One of our trade team calls you back to talk through your volume, your setup and what you are trying to fix. We will be straight about whether we are the right supplier.

3. Samples and quote

We can send you samples or have an agent come in to present the products catalogue and our offers and sort out a written quote.

4. Your account opens

We set your account up in the office and give you a named contact. Orders are placed with them by phone or email rather than through the website.

Trade questions

What is the minimum order?

Depends on the type of contract. We would rather set you up with a realistic standing order than sell you a pallet you cannot get through while it is fresh.

How fresh is the coffee?

Carraro roast in the Veneto and we hold UK stock in Brixton, so you are not waiting on an import for every order. Normally our stock rotates every couple of weeks, sometimes even weekly.

Do I have to take a machine from you?

No. Plenty of our accounts have their own equipment and just want better coffee and a supplier who answers the phone. A machine on loan is an option, not a condition.

What happens if the machine breaks down?

You call us. Repairs are coordinated by us and carried out by our partner engineers, so you are not chasing three companies to work out whose problem it is.

Where do you deliver?

We can send them with DPD all over the UK, but we also have scheduled deliveries around London with our own drivers. More details will be discussed with our agents.

How do I place orders once the account is open?

Through your account manager, by phone or email. Trade orders are not placed through the website checkout. Pricing is specific to your account, so it is handled in the office alongside your invoicing.

Can we try the coffee before committing?

Yes. We would rather you tasted it on your own machine, with your own milk and your own water, than judged it in our arch.
